Rejuvi Non Laser Tattoo Removal

How does it work?

Rejuvi Extraction technique utilizes several inorganic oxides with good chemical affinity for tattoo

pigments, and proprietary particle, size in a special formulation. When Rejuvi Tattoo Removal formula is

in good physical contact with tattoo pigments in the skin, the pigments gradually merge into Rejuvi

Tattoo Removal formula. Rejuvi Tattoo Remover is specially formulated not to remain in the skin, so

that the skin repels or ejects the mixture to the skin surface, to form a protective scab or crust, which

will detach naturally peeling off from the skin. The extraction process is illustrated in the following

Diagram:

What can Rejuvi technique do?

Rejuvi extraction technique is very compatible to traditional inorganic pigments & home made

pigments. It may not be compatible to polymer base pigments. This technique can be used for the

removal of tattooed eyebrows, lip liners, or body tattoos. It should not be used to remove eyeliners

(very dangerous!)

How to apply Rejuvi Tattoo Remover?

It is similar to tattoo-over process using Rejuvi Tattoo Remover. Both cosmetic tattooing or coil

machines can be used. Usually round 3-5 prong needles are used for removal of permanent makeup,

and 7-14 round needles for removal of tattoos.

How to take care after removal application?

There will be a brownish layer of Rejuvi Tattoo Remover remaining on the treated area. Keep this layer

form any water contact for 60-72 hours. Thereafter, slight water contact (shower for a few minutes) is

okay. Gently pat dry with cotton pad, then natural air dry. No soaking, no bath, no swimming, no direct

water jet to treated area. A dark scab or crust will form gradually due to pigments merging into the

Rejuvi Tattoo Remover. A scab usually peels off naturally in 10-15 days for removal of permanent

makeup, and 15-25 days for removal of body tattoos, depending upon individual conditions. Avoid

deliberate rubbing off of the scab. After a scab peels off, Rejuvi Super Soothing Cream should be applied

twice a day (immediately after washing) to diminish redness, and help the skin’s recovery. The treated

skin will gradually heal, and return to a normal condition. A complete treatment recovery usually takes

2-3 months for removal of permanent makeup, and 3-6 months even longer for removal of body tattoos.

How many treatment sessions will be needed?

Usually only one treatment is needed for removal of permanent makeup (eyebrows and lip liners)

because the pigments are not located too deep in the skin. For a body tattoo, the number of treatments

can vary. Usually 3-7 treatment sessions are needed because the pigments are significantly deeper in

the skin, and scarring risk must be minimized. The interval between each session is 2-3 months. A large

tattoo may be divided into several small sections for removal, to minimize discomfort after treatment.

What is the advantage of this technique?

  •  Non-color selective (any color can be removed)
  •
  •  Relatively independent of pigment particle size
  •
  •  Simple, effective, and less scarring
  •
  •  Quick – usually takes less than an hour to remove permanent makeup or small tattoos
  •
  •  Far less expensive when compared with laser methods
  •
  •  Much less pain or discomfort compared with laser methods, particularly for removal of
  •
  • permanent makeup on facial area
  •
  •  Very compatible to Permanent Makeup Artists and Tattoo Artists.

What are precautions?

  • Hypertrophic scanning (keloid) is a possible side effect for removal of tattoos, and should be minimized.
  •
  • The following are good precautions:
  •
  •  Do not puncture deeper than normal permanent makeup or tattooing
  •
  •  Do not puncture more than 3 times over the same area
  •
  •  Do not move the tattooing machine too slow
  •
  • Painaway Solution was used in the development and study of this technique. It is chemically compatible
  •
  • with Rejuvi Tattoo Remover. Some other topical anesthetics have been observed to have interaction
  •
  • with Rejuvi Tattoo Remover, causing skin damage.

How was the technique developed?

Rejuvi Tattoo Removal Technique was developed by the renowned biochemist, Wade Cheng, Ph.D. in

the early ‘90s, and began to be used in the U.S. Market in the mid ‘90s. Initially, the application focused

on the removal of permanent makeup. It has now been used for the removal of body tattoos

successfully, in many countries around the world.
